Meet the Potters...

OMG! Just when I thought I was done spazzing about HP, they release photos from the epilogue scenes for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. The kids look funny being "aged" supposedly nineteen years later. Although Bonnie makes Ginny Weasley look like one cool mom, Daniel reminds me so much of Benjamin Button instead. CGI better work its wonders on these scenes once the film is shown or else fans will end up being majorly disappointed.

Pandanon… NOT!

This, is what I'll be missing out on Saturday. Loser, right?. Anyone would be foolish enough to refuse a beach outing with officemates. But sadly, with the current state we are in, others have to take one for the team. (Nyahaha!) Understaffing is seriously depriving me of a social life. Oh well... until TPTB lifts a finger to rescue us from the murky waters we're in, all I can do is dream of the sandy shores of Pandanon or any team outing destinations we might have in the future.

On a more personal note though and out of sheer boredom, I have decided to start blogging again. Perhaps it was out of fear that I could barely string words into sentences anymore. I needed to brush up on my writing skills and what better way to do that than chronicling one's kagagahans over fandoms, right?

Puss + Kitty = Sizzling Hot!

Antonio Banderas is reason enough for me to watch a PIB spin-off flick. But adding Salma Hayek into the mix (can we throw in Eddie Murphy as well?), one can only imagine how hilarious this is going to get. To quote an article regarding the possible release of the movie in 2011:

The wide-eyed, womanizing Puss in Boots also finds himself tamed in his spin-off with the introduction of his very own love interest, Kitty, voiced by none other than Salma Hayek.

“She is both a love interest and a villain in a way,” Hayek said of her character. “She is very manipulative — like a really good cat.”

LULZ! So we finally get to see the origins of the "great cat burglar of Santiago de Compostela". And how charming is Kitty, eh? This is definitely one of my most anticipated films for 2011, second to the final conclusion of the Harry Potter series.

You did well, Casey…

But we all knew that you'll never reach the finals because you  mostly catered to songs that no one from this current generation of AI viewers is familiar with. Kudos for reaching the Top 3 though considering most of my favorites from previous seasons never got past the fourth spot (e.g. Constantine Maroulis, Jason Castro). I don't give a damn anymore as to who will win the finals this year. It's a done deal already that TPTB are pimping Lee Dewyze for the crown.
